Here are the results of your child's ADHD symptom checklist:

If you do not want to turn javascipt on, you can print out and fill out the form manually and review the following diagnostic criteria to see if your child has symptoms of ADHD.Your child has a symptom if you feel that he has it 'Often' or 'Very Often'.Typs of ADHD include:

ADHD - Inattentive Type, with six or more symptoms of Inattention

ADHD - Hyperactive/Impulsive Type, with six or more symptoms of Hyperactivity and Impulsivity

ADHD - Combined Type, with six or more symptoms of Inattention and six or more symptoms of Hyperactivity and Impulsivity

Warning!!! Even if your child meets has these symptoms of ADHD, it does not mean that your child has ADHD!To meet the criteria for ADHD, your child should also:

have had these symptoms since before he or she was 7 years old

have the symptoms in more than one setting, for example, both at home and at school

have a clinically significant impairment in his or her functioning. This one is very important. Even if your child has every symptom of ADHD, if it isn't causing a problem, then it isn't ADHD.

not have another disorder that could be causing the symptoms, like autism, depression, personality disorder, etc.
