There are several crashes in this week's Safety Saturday. Hopefully we can all learn from these tragedies and keep our own kids safer:

  • a 3-year-old in Stapleton, Alabama who died when his mother accidentally backed over him in their driveway as he was playing
  • a 14-year-old in Greenfield, Pennsylvania who crashed into a tree and broke his leg in a sledding accident
  • a 17-year-old in Tampa, Florida who died after accidentally shooting himself in the head as he was playing with a gun with three friends
  • a 13-year-old in Minnesota who is in critical condition after crashing his parents car he took without permission. Two other teens were also seriously hurt.

This is an especially good time to review winter safety and health tips, including advice for skating and sledding safety.
