On the heels of the Similac formula recall, we have another big recall that may affect the safety of our kids.

Fisher-Price Inc., with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, is recalling a number of products, including:

  • About 7 Million Fisher Price Trikes and Tough Trikes toddler tricycles
  • About 950,000 Healthy Care, Easy Clean and Close to Me High Chairs
  • About 100,000 Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies Stand 'n Play Rampway toys
  • About 2.8 million Infant Toys with Inflatable Balls, including the Baby Playzone Crawl & Cruise Playground, Baby Playzone Crawl & Slide Arcade, Baby Gymtastics Play Wall, Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium, 1-2-3 Tetherball, Bat & Score Goal

So that is almost 11 million baby and child products recalled for a variety of reasons, including injuries and choking hazards. Check the Fisher-Price / Mattel product recall and advisory page for product numbers to see if you have any of the products in this Fisher-Price recall and how you can get the affected parts of the products replaced. Remember that you shouldn't let your kids use the recalled items until they are fixed. And keep in mind that the items in the Fisher-Price recall don't qualify for a full refund.
