Controlling Indoor AllergiesAlthough some kids with allergies only have seasonal allergies, for example, having allergy symptoms when pollen, grass, or mold counts are high in the fall or spring, many others have year round allergies.

If your kids have allergy symptoms all year, you should learn how to protect them from dust mites, mold, animal dander, and other indoor allergens inside your home. Helpful tips for controlling indoor allergies include removing or cleaning carpets, encasing pillows and mattresses in allergy proof plastic covers, and keeping pets out of your child's room.
