Flu season is coming. Do your kids needs a flu shot? There are some new recommendations this year, including that a flu vaccine is recommended for:
  • women who will be pregnant during the influenza season (it used to be that you just got a flu shot if you were just past your third trimester)
  • all children aged 6 to 23 months, even if they are healthy and not in daycare
This is in addition to the usual recommendations and keep in mind that close contacts of children under 23 months of age should also get a flu shot. { more }
