Your baby's development has progressed quite a bit in her first six months.
At six months, your baby is likely:
- rolling over
- able to pull up to a sitting position without any head lag
- beginning to sit up without support and will master this developmental milestone by seven months
- turning to sounds and voices and may begin to respond to her own name
- beginning to imitate speech sounds and talk in single syllables
- reaching for and holding objects
- able to support her weight on her legs with support
- exploring her environment with her hands and her mouth
- enjoying some play time
Over the next few months, you baby will begin to stand while holding on to things, put syllables together, pick up things with a thumb and finger grasp, and wave bye-bye.
