I have never made the mistake of asking someone if they were pregnant when they had simply put on a few extra pounds, but I am still afraid to ask unless they bring it up first...
I have had plenty of moms come into the office with their first child and obviously pregnant with a second, even dropping hints that they are pregnant, but until they say something definitive about a due date or really spell it out, I don't say a word.
