As expected, the recall of products made with almond butter, peanut butter, cashew butter, tahini and roasted blanched peanut products from Sunland, Inc. continues to expand.
What started with a recall of Trader Joe's Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter now includes ice cream, snack bars, and other peanut butter products.
The case count from this outbreak was also recently updated. The CDC is now reporting that 35 people have gotten sick in 19 states with this outbreak strain of Salmonella, with 8 people requiring hospitalization.
Check the Sunland recall list to make sure you don't have any of these products in your home and watch your kids for Salmonella symptoms if you do.
