Vaccine Additives and Preservatives

Photo by Brendan Hoffman/Getty ImagesAlthough mercury has been removed from most vaccines, vaccines may still contain aluminum, formaldehyde, human serum albumin, gelatin, antibiotics and yeast proteins.

This has led some parents to push for "green" vaccines, through such events as the recent Green Our Vaccines march in Washington, D.C. Is this really a push for safer vaccines or simply a way for some groups to seem less anti-vaccine?
