Baby BottlesCan you use warm or hot water from the tap to make your baby's formula? That is a common question have about preparing baby formula.

New parents who aren't breastfeeding also commonly ask about boiling water, choosing baby formula, and which kind of water to use to mix their baby's formula. Surprisingly, you may also have to worry about fluoride, since infants who are fed powdered or concentrated liquid formula which is mixed with fluoridated water can get too much fluoride.

And now experts state that you may have to worry about the plastics in your baby's bottles. They state that exposure to bisphenol A (BPA), which is found in many plastic products, including baby bottles, could possibly lead to behavioral problems, early puberty, and other medical problems. Still, the risk is still not definitely known and many experts think that BPA is safe, so it is unclear if you should change your habits yet.

If you are worried about the BPA in your baby's bottles, you could use glass bottles or breastfeed though.
