Poison Ivy
I have been seeing a lot of cases of poison ivy this season and had been blaming it all of the rain we have been getting this spring and summer. I figured that was causing the poison ivy plants to really thrive...Some new research states that higher levels of CO2 may be to blame though, causing poison ivy plants to grow faster and to be more potent. That's bad news to people who are sensitive to poison ivy - which includes most people.
Review the symptoms and treatments for poison ivy in children, which is going to be especially important if poison ivy is going to be more of a problem in the future. Plus learn how to identify and avoid poison ivy, so that your kids don't get the poison ivy rash in the first place.
