National Influenza Vaccination Week

Wednesday November 29, 2006
Is it too late to get a flu shot? Considering that many pediatricians have just started to get their flu shots, flu season hasn't really started to get going yet, with low levels of flu activity across most of the country, and this week being National Influenza Vaccination Week, most experts would answer with a very clear 'no, it is not too late to get a flu shot.'

And if your pediatrician still doesn't have flu shots, you might mention the Influenza Vaccine Availability Tracking System, which can help to match up doctors who need to order flu shots and flu shot distributors that have them.
