Changing your clocks for Daylight Saving Time can be a good reminder to also check your home's smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. In addition to making sure that they are working, this is a good time to change their batteries and replace your smoke alarms if they are 10 years old or older and CO alarms if they are 5 years old or older. This is also a good time to review your family's fire escape plan.

Do you have a fire escape plan? Do you have a carbon monoxide detector?
