Flu Season Update
Wednesday December 28, 2005
This year's flu season is finally starting to get going, especially in the western part of the United States. It is still early in this year's flu season, but we are seeing widespread flu in Utah, and regional flu activity in Arizona, California, Kansas, New Mexico, and Oregon. Most other states are reporting sporadic influenza activity.
If you are worried that it seems a little early to see any flu at all, you can be reassured by the fact that the latest flu activity report from the CDC actually looks a lot like last years, when the flu season didn't peak until mid-February. That means that it still isn't too late to get a flu shot, if you can find one.
