Springtime
Saturday May 28, 2005
Springtime and the end of the school year marks a big shift for many Pediatric offices. Long gone are the days with a waiting room full of sick kids. Although we are still seeing lots of kids with simple colds and coughs here in Dallas, by this time of year, many Pediatricians appreciate a slow down in their office.
In the Spring and Summer, in addition to some vacation time, many Pediatricians try to catch up on all of their well child checkups. Things can still be busy though. However, instead of caring for kids with RSV or the flu, the office can be full of kids with spring allergies, poison ivy, insect bites, and sunburn.
Learn how to keep your kids safe and healthy this springtime by reviewing all of these springtime health and safety tips, including water safety and learning how to safely use sunscreen and insect repellents.
